FOUR TOWNS MAJOR CONVENTION IS HERE AGAIN - DON'T MISS OUT

The annual major convention of The Apostolic Church four towns major center is here again, the epic gathering of God's children which is slated to hold  from thursday 16th of october  till sunday 19th of october 2014

What are your expectations for the glorious gathering....?

“And a certain woman who had an issue of blood twelve years and have endured much at the hands of many physicians and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse.

After hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind him and touched his cloak.

For she said if I may touched “if I just touch his garments, I will get well” immediately the flow of her blood was drained up and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said who touched my garments.
And his disciples said to him, “you see the crowd pressing in on you and you say , who touched me? And he looked around to see the woman who had done this thing.

But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.

And he said to her, “daughter your faith has made you well, go in peace and be healed of your affliction”.

Proverbs 23:18 - Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Psalms 62:5 - My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
There is nothing wrong in expecting great things from God. The bible says the silver and gold belongs to God and a cattle upon a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). The bible says God shall supply ALL our needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus. As a Christian, you are a descendant of Abraham and God told Abraham that all his seed will be blessed. Brethren, wait upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is your rock and salvation; he is your defence; Do not be greatly moved (Psalm 62:1).

A Lesson from the Geese

Pastor Joshua Aregbesola

 (TAC-USA)
* As each bird flaps its wings, it creates an uplift for the bird following. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock adds 71% to the flying range than if each bird flew alone.

Lesson : People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier when they are traveling on the thrust of one another.

"What does the Bible say about commitment?"

There are numerous references in the Bible addressing the Christian’s commitment in various aspects of life: to our families, neighbors, employers, the church, our health, and in all things we do and say (Ephesians 6:5; Hebrews 10:25; 1 Corinthians 6:19, 31). But the Bible also teaches that the chief commitment of our lives is to God Himself. Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment” (Matthew 22:37-38).

Principles of Great Faith

By Dr. Dale A. Robbins

Matthew 8:5 “Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 8:6 saying, Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.
8:7 And Jesus said to him, I will come and heal him.
8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
8:9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.
8:10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”
